Chelsea FC is poised to bolster Enzo Maresca’s attacking options with the signing of RC Strasbourg Alsace centre-forward Emanuel Emegha (22) from the 2025/2026 season. According to football insider Fabrizio Romano, a pre-agreement has been reached between the two BlueCo-owned clubs. This deal will see the Dutch U21 international join the Premier League side next year.
Emegha’s anticipated move to Stamford Bridge is hardly a surprise, given his impressive performances for the Alsatian club since his arrival from Sturm Graz two years ago. The 22-year-old has been a prolific scorer, netting 26 goals and providing five assists in 64 appearances for Strasbourg. He has started the current season in particularly strong form, with three goals in four games.
Romano further reports that Chelsea proactively secured this agreement, anticipating significant interest from other top Premier League and Champions League clubs in Emegha next summer. The current Strasbourg captain is expected to commit to the Blues on a long-term, seven-year contract.

Le Chelsea FC s`apprête à renforcer les options offensives d`Enzo Maresca avec la signature de l`avant-centre du RC Strasbourg Alsace, Emanuel Emegha (22 ans), à partir de la saison 2025/2026. Selon l`expert en football Fabrizio Romano, un pré-accord a été conclu entre les deux clubs détenus par BlueCo. Cet accord verra l`international néerlandais U21 rejoindre le club de Premier League l`année prochaine.
Le transfert anticipé d`Emegha à Stamford Bridge n`est guère une surprise, étant donné ses performances impressionnantes pour le club alsacien depuis son arrivée de Sturm Graz il y a deux ans. Romano ajoute que Chelsea a agi de manière proactive en sécurisant cet accord, anticipant un intérêt significatif d`autres grands clubs de Premier League et de Ligue des Champions pour Emegha l`été prochain. L`actuel capitaine de Strasbourg devrait s`engager avec les Blues via un contrat à long terme de sept ans.
