Following a double substitution, Giovannini’s solid contribution helped Italy secure the final set 25–18, completing their impressive sweep.
The Azzurre are scheduled to return to the court on September 6, where they will face the formidable winner of the quarterfinal match between Brazil and France, set to take place on September 4.
