Jonathan Barker apporte à Volleyball Ireland une vaste expérience en développement commercial et en leadership. Auparavant, en tant que directeur général adjoint et directeur commercial de Sunshine 106.8, il a considérablement augmenté les revenus, établi des partenariats clés et dynamisé les opérations commerciales.
Son expérience approfondie dans la promotion de relations solides au sein des secteurs du sport et des médias lui confère une vision stratégique parfaitement alignée sur les objectifs de Volleyball Ireland. Cette nomination intervient à un moment opportun, s`appuyant sur les progrès récents de l`organisation et le succès de son plan stratégique « Feel The Buzz ».

M. Barker prendra ses fonctions début novembre, dirigeant l`organisation pendant la première moitié de la plus grande saison de ligue intérieure de Volleyball Ireland à ce jour, qui verra une augmentation de 20 % du nombre d`équipes participantes à travers le pays.

Volleyball Ireland has announced the appointment of Jonathan Barker as its new Chief Executive Officer, following a rigorous recruitment process.
Barker brings a wealth of experience in commercial and leadership development to Volleyball Ireland. Previously, as Deputy CEO and Commercial Director of Sunshine 106.8, he significantly boosted revenues, established key partnerships, and revitalized commercial operations.
His extensive background in fostering robust relationships within sports and media sectors equips him with a strategic vision perfectly aligned with Volleyball Ireland`s goals. This appointment comes at an opportune moment, building on the organisation`s recent progress and the success of its « Feel The Buzz » strategic plan.

Barker will assume his duties in early November, leading the organisation into the first half of Volleyball Ireland’s largest indoor league season to date, which will see a 20% increase in participating teams across the country.
