Le Paris Saint-Germain, champion d`Europe en titre, a officiellement annoncé la signature du gardien de but Lucas Chevalier, âgé de 23 ans, en provenance du LOSC Lille, autre club de Ligue 1. Chevalier s`est engagé avec le PSG pour un contrat de cinq ans, un transfert qui pourrait le propulser au poste de gardien titulaire sous la direction de Luis Enrique, potentiellement en remplacement de Gianluigi Donnarumma. Exprimant son enthousiasme, Chevalier s`est dit « ravi » de rejoindre le club vainqueur du triplé, déclarant qu`il était « un enfant qui vit son rêve ».

La saison dernière, Chevalier a été nommé Gardien de l`année de la Ligue 1, réalisant un impressionnant total de 11 clean sheets dans l`élite du football français. Sa performance exceptionnelle lui a également valu une nomination pour le Trophée Yashin 2025, aux côtés de Donnarumma. L`entraîneur Luis Enrique aurait été particulièrement séduit par la capacité de Chevalier à jouer au pied, recherchant un gardien doté de bonnes compétences en matière de distribution du ballon.
L`arrivée de Chevalier devrait marquer la fin du passage de Donnarumma au PSG. Le club s`attendrait à recevoir des offres de transfert pour l`international italien de la part de grands clubs européens tels que Chelsea, Manchester United ou l`Internazionale.
