Paris Saint-Germain`s president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has officially expressed his gratitude and congratulations to the Royal Spanish Football Federation for their exemplary management of midfielder Fabian Ruiz. Ruiz, a Spanish international, was excused from participating in matches with La Roja this month. Al-Khelaïfi specifically praised the « excellent care and attention provided to our player. »
The PSG chief further highlighted that the club « deeply appreciates the professionalism, medical expertise, and support demonstrated by allowing Fabian to return to the club during the international break. »
The public release of Al-Khelaïfi`s letter is widely interpreted as a subtle but direct criticism aimed at the French Football Federation (FFF). PSG has previously voiced concerns over the FFF`s handling of its players, particularly Ousmane Dembélé, who suffered a serious hamstring injury while on international duty despite PSG`s reported requests for careful monitoring of his playing time.

L`international espagnol avait été exempté de participer aux matchs avec La Roja ce mois-ci. Al-Khelaïfi a spécifiquement salué « l`excellent soin et l`attention accordés à notre joueur ».
Le dirigeant parisien a en outre souligné que le club « apprécie grandement le professionnalisme, l`expertise médicale et le soutien démontrés en permettant à Fabian de revenir au club pendant la trêve internationale ».
La publication de la lettre d`Al-Khelaïfi est largement interprétée comme une critique subtile mais directe adressée à la Fédération Française de Football (FFF). Le PSG a en effet déjà fait part de ses préoccupations concernant la gestion de ses joueurs par la FFF, notamment Ousmane Dembélé, qui a subi une grave blessure aux ischio-jambiers lors de ses obligations internationales, et ce malgré les demandes du PSG pour une surveillance attentive de son temps de jeu.
