Logan Storley is set to face Florim Zendeli at PFL Sioux Falls on May 2nd. The former Bellator MMA interim welterweight champion expressed that the familiar Sanford Pentagon, where he has previously delivered strong performances, holds special significance for him.
“Yes, it’s important because my friends, family, the wrestling community, and my sponsor are here. Many people I know are from Sioux Falls. A large portion of my fanbase that has supported my MMA and wrestling career resides here. So it’s always enjoyable to return and compete in this venue,” Storley shared.
Regarding the comfort and mental advantage of performing in a familiar setting, Storley remarked: “Yes, you have a general idea of how things will look: the drive to the arena, stepping off the bus, the sound and appearance of the crowd. I think that does help. But for me, the main factor is the support. The people who have supported you throughout your entire career. I believe that means the most to me and is special. They have had my back for the last 11-12 years of my career. Therefore, you want to go out there, fight through every position, and dominate. Set a high pace and look for a finish for the fans.”

Analyzing his opponent, Florim Zendeli, the 2024 PFL Europe welterweight champion, Storley shared his thoughts on Zendeli’s skillset: “Yes, he’s a very long fighter for the welterweight division. He’s tough. He’s been hit, been rocked, but recovered. He fights through a lot of positions. He’s good in the clinch. So for me, the key will be to set a high pace, secure my positions, make him work, and be explosive.”
